Live Case Study 1 – Bazil Boyle

August 09, 2015

How do you go from disliking your job to actually making a business that can replace it? Follow our live case study interviews as we find out just what it feels like to come up with an idea, take it to market and try to build a real business.

Bazil Boyle
Bazil's business is No Thank You Clothing. As a concept it's pretty straightforward - create locally made, high-fashion t-shirts and sell them. In execution it's an entirely different matter.

In this first interview we get into why Bazil is trying to enter an absolutely packed market, what motivates him to treat this as a serious business and what he thinks might be the major struggles to come. Keeping in mind this business is still on the intangible "it's a good idea" end of the spectrum we also try to get some solid core market definitions and physical steps for Bazil to take.

We also challenge the idea of a "brand" and get really serious about what it takes to make something that deserves to be a real business. This is just the introduction and stage 1 of taking something from idea stage to actual business so please get behind Bazil and help us support his business while we all get to watch it grow and eventually succeed month by month.
