Jim Grigsby, owner of Jim Grigsby Consulting, provides insight and processes that work for his clients that our listeners can glean from during this interview. He is most known for his vast experience in revenue cycle management and processes for collections.

Jim has over 25 years’ experience as a Revenue Cycle and Financial Management professional, as a hospital executive, consultant, project manager and account executive; Pre-Scheduling, Patient Access, Billing, Collections, Financial Counseling, Bad Debt Management and Systems Implementation.

He has performed assessments, managed a 1,000 physician CBO, served as Interim Revenue Cycle Director, written policies and procedures, implemented training programs, developed re-engineering programs and provided management consulting for hospitals, multi- hospital systems, IPOs, PHOs, specialty hospitals (cancer treatment centers, substance abuse facilities and psychiatric facilities).

In addition to accelerating cash flow and increasing efficiency, Jim has developed 30 financial management executives in hospitals and physician practices.

Jim is a Certified Revenue Cycle Executive (CRCE) AAHAM; Certified Healthcare Collection Specialist (CHCS) AAHAM and ACA. He received his Bachelors of Science, BS, in Mathematics and Economics at Western Michigan University.
