Messianic teacher Joel Allen explores the Torah Portion Shelach and expounds upon the mental state of Israel and in particular the 10 spies that brought back an evil report from the land of Canaan. As the portion reads the mental and spiritual state of these men were that of fear and not of faith. Their report said that “we are as grasshoppers in their sight and so it seems to them.” If only we realized that the enemy of our soul actually fears us instead because of the fear of God that is placed upon God’s children.
