TThe church in its beginning was devoted to the apostles teaching, to the Lord’s Supper, the fellowship, and prayer…. The were all filled with awe!  Perhaps, we need to check our devotion to the scripture (Acts 2:42,43; Rev 1:3; 3:14 – 22).

TPaul faced the hardships of being: in want, shipwrecked, beaten, imprisoned, falsely accused, and uncertain of life, itself. Yet, he says he learned to be content whatever his circumstances. This same kind of contentment is available for us today,
