Stephen is a young man just starting out in childcare, but I was very struck by his mature attitudes towards encouraging men to try the job, career prospects, positive discrimination and the way that society views men in the childcare industry.

He is realistic about some parent's perspectives towards having a man in the setting, and also points out that his close links with Blackpool football team can give him common ground when talking to other men.
