The doctor explains that they are going to monitor the patient’s oxygen levels while walking at each visit. They are also going to set up a test to monitor her oxygen levels while sleeping because oxygen levels often drop during sleep in people with COPD. If her levels are low, he will be recommending oxygen therapy.
