EMS 10 Innovator awardee Phil Callahan came up with a unique program that transitions returning US veterans to civilian EMS jobs as EMTs and paramedics using a specialized resilient educational program that manages the unique challenges the veterans are facing. The program doesn't pathologize the educational problems of the veterans (doesn't treat them as ill), it takes a straight educational approach to helping them overcome their issues with education.
