Last week one of the most famous Hip Hop mothers, Afeni Shakur, died at the age of 69. Today we remember her and examine different types of mothers, and examine this beloved tradition of celebrating mothers on one special day of the year. . . which clearly is the barest minimum we can pay to our mother. . . especially if she is/was really a great mother.
