You can begin spending time in God’s Word in a variety of ways.  One way I recommend is through a reading plan.  You can find many to choose from at www.youversion.com.  Make sure your intentions are to get closer to God and never to check of a to-do list or make yourself look good.  Don’t bite off more than you can chew.  Stick with the plan, but don’t beat yourself up if you miss a day.  Make it an enjoyable time with your Lord, not a monotonous chore.
