Derek- Describe Experiment and Write up

* How important is “how” we chose to craft instructions for creatives

In the first experiment words like “exotic” and “colorful beak” were used, which while general moved all of the designers in a similar way.

The most interesting thing here being the toucan being created when their was no specificity about which type of bird. Parrots, Puffins, and parakeets all have colorful beaks. The use of rainforest + colorful beaks likely narrowed down the choices.

Why?

On the other hand, two beautiful birds hanging out together created radically different images, most interestingly different birds across the images. Setting is one of the biggest differences and likely what caused the difference in birds.

2)Main mistakes made when communicating with creatives… how do we see clients come in and miscommunicate their wishes

3) What is the best way to manage that issue? How should people streamline the instruction to creatives to streamline their deliverables and costs?

4) What form of media do you see more difficulty in terms of instruction compared to desired product … how can that be overcome

5) What questions should creatives ask their customers when onboarding them in order to maximize their billable time?
