Jason Moss: Composer and Boutique Music Library Publisher

April 24, 2015

Jason Moss grew up with the sound of Laurel Canyon artists in one ear and Zeppelin, Rush and Metallica in the other. Being able to pull from these diverse musical influences has helped him build a personal catalog of 2000+ tracks.

In addition to his own tracks he also publishes the music of other artists under his Super Sonic Noise banner.

Jason and the Super Sonic Noise catalog credits are too numerous to mention, but recent placements include commercials for Red Bull, French’s Mustard, Sony and the trailer for the video game Summoner’s War (with over 13 million views on YouTube since January).

In this interview Jason shares insights into the business music licensing that can only come from being both a composer and publisher.

“I’m not that composer that hates music and is fried. I can’t get enough.â€
