Eleanor Mayerfeld is the 2011 Frontenac Old Time Music Fiddle Champion, the youngest winner ever. Formerly a member ofSonora Strings, the touring violin ensemble of Suzuki Strings of Madison, Eleanor has toured with them in Puerto Rico, Door County, and California. Currently a member of the Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestra. Mike has played in many groups, most notably theBarn Owl Band, with whom he recorded three albums and appeared on the National Public Radio ShowA Prairie Home Companion.
