Black Belt Boomerang is Good

October 13, 2021

Black Belt Boomerang is Good. Going back to the school, back to the dojo is a fantastic act. But first we need to review The Black Belt Bolt.

Reaching back to an older episode of Martial Arts and Life about the Black Belt Bolt. The black belt bolt is the act of getting a black belt and then never returning to the school.  There are reasons for this behavior, but I lay the act at the feet of the student most of the time. There are of course situations that run the other way, but it’s the student more often than not.

Going Back to The Dojo

I had a conversation on a social media platform with a guy that was returning to his training and how he was returning to the school after engaging in the Black Belt Bolt.  I touch on a few quick reasons the Black Belt Bolt manifests and 4 Key points on how to be successful in returning to the dojo, dojang, Kwon, whatever the name and platform are.

When the Black Belt Boomerang comes around and lands at your feet you get to pick it up and answer some personal questions. Those questions need answers, and that makes you a seeker. Seekers are interesting they are the most interesting people. Most are born, but anybody can become a seeker – become interesting and better themselves.

You Are Rare

A rare percentage is what you are in when you return to training. You are in such a low percentage of human behavior. Take a pat on the back for that act. Further, when you return to your old school it will be better than when you left. If you don’t see that growth you need to seek another avenue to seek your growth experience.
