Loaded Dice Cast Episode 71: [citation needed]

July 31, 2015

“I understood that reference.”
Steve Rogers (and Dan McD) are vexed by this edition of Loaded Dice Cast.
Kevin, Derek, Dubs and old school Loaded Dice Cast member Matty G (returning like so many Aragorns) get together to discuss the nature, role and cultural significance of the ubiquitous nerd reference, inspired by Ernest Cline’s new list of shit he likes novel, Armada.
Are references inherently exclusionary or inclusive?  Is reference based humor actually funny?  Can the LDC crew be self aware enough to not make tons of nerdy references to illustrate their points (of course not)?  Is it important to arc as a person that uses nerd references?  Can it ever truly be said that–  Wait, wait, wait… hold up–  What exactly are the logistics involved in a circle jerk?  [shoes are required -ed]
Get in on the joke by listening to this episode of Loaded Dice Cast.  Just remember:  you can’t take it out of the library.
