Upon the arrival of the new Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens Trailer that dropped on April 16, 2015, the Loaded Dice Crew explores not the Star Wars trailer itself, (if you want that, check out our article here). (http://www.loadeddicenetwork.com/uncategorized/star-wars-the-force-awakens-some-more-trailer/)  Instead, we take our gaze, firmly planted on our navels, and discuss the experience of being a Star Wars fan in a heady time.  The time prior to release, when all is speculation, wonder and hype.  Kevin and Evan are fully aboard the hype train.  Dan McD has been hurt before, and is cautious and guarded.  And Derek is in full on "No Spoilers" Mode.  He didn't even watch the new trailer.

We discuss our various approaches, our hopes, dreams and fears, and also compare it to the release of the Prequel Trilogy in the early aughts.  Maybe you'll find some commonality with our approach.  Maybe you'll just bask in the collective glow of our frightening nerd chrysalis.  Maybe you will figure out we're a bunch of weirdos and you can probably do better things with your time than listen to our podcast.

And, since we're bringing back Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fischer, some 30 years later, and old as all get out, we draft other series reboots we'd like to see with the actors their current age.
