Have you ever watched a film that was a remake or a reboot but felt like it was kind of a sequel too? Happens to me all the time. Most recently, the sensation washed over me as I was playing Final Fantasy 7 Remake. The idea of a requel isn’t really anything new and people have slightly different definitions of this idea. No matter how you slice it, creating a requel is a pretty interesting way to approach an entertainment project. This week on Stay Watchin’, I’ll share my take on what a requel is and tell you why I really love them.
