No matter how you see yourself, no matter how low your self-esteem may be, you must see yourself as someone that was created for a purpose because you are. It doesn’t matter what people see when they look at you; what matters is how you see yourself when you look in the mirror.

In whatever arena you may find yourself in life, always strive to be authentic in who you are. Don’t try to be like someone else or try to have what someone else has. Often times people look at the product and not the price tag. They look at the success of people’s lives and try to duplicate what they see. The problem with that is, you may not be able to afford their success because of what they paid. It’s okay to admire someone or appreciate what they do, but never try to duplicate what they have or what they have done because you may not be able to pay the price they paid.

Remember this:

Let me tell you something…I’ve been a unique person all of my life- not better, just unique. I’ve gotten picked on for it; I’ve been called racial slurs for my beliefs and I’ve even been hated on because I’m confident in who God created me to be. See here’s the thing: people that are duplicates will always hate on originals. They will always think that they’re better and have a problem with them for being unique. Duplicates don’t know their true identity; that’s why they’re being a duplicate instead of an original. Make sense?
