On Wednesday evening, April 15th, Pastor Zac Hicks preached his closing sermon from the Gospel of John (20:31–21:25). Zac opens this final sermon from John’s Gospel by remembering Steve Brown’s sermon from the beginning of the series.

In John’s story of Re-Creation, after the New Adam has dealt with the enemy and his curse and the First Adam and his fear, Jesus now offers to the disciples a new “creation mandate.” Jesus gives them (and us) the power to tell the world that we are forgiven, and this forgiveness is the key which unlocks the cages erected in our guilt and loneliness. This message explores the power of the Gospel, particularly as it meets us in our loneliness and isolation.
