Susan Michaletz launched PoppedCorn with one goal in mind – creating and offering the best locally popped fresh popcorn and fudge on the planet. With the help of her team, they have created over 70 delicious and unique flavors.

Susan left her position at Tapestry Management once she was done paying tuition for her daughters. She didn’t have a plan, but was open to any possibility.  

She was drawn to her business about 11 years ago after seeing the concept in Las Vegas. She loved the immediately loved the idea! They opened about 6 years ago and Susan says she has never worked so hard in her life! 

Susan is a quick learner and can adapt quickly. The diversity of the clients and businesses she has been associated with have given her very broad experience. Her background as a CPA (Arthur Andersen & Co alum) was a tremendous experience. She was on the audit staff but also received training in small business tax. Her clients ranged from real estate and construction to several of the professional sports teams. Susan was CFO / Treasurer for a municipal bond firm in Minneapolis for several years and then went into the family business - real estate development and construction.

One of Susan's favorite sayings is, "Don’t take it personally." She thinks this applies to anything!
