Laura Watkins: Bootcamp Grad & Skeptic

February 03, 2015
I had a chat this week with Laura Watkins of Rackspace about what it means to be a programmer, how to translate your background -whatever it may be- into a future in tech, and why a bootcamp may not be the best way to do that.  Hear about her experience as a Hackbright fellow and why she thinks that for some, self study might be a better option. Laura offers a ton of insight and candid advice for coding newcomers. I do have to apologize for a couple of odd audio moments because, you know…Skype.

You can find and follow Laura on Twitter @pinkyswearing.
