I sat down for a chat recently with Lisa Hewus Fresh of Portland, Oregon. In addition to being the very first guest to be interviewed for Lady Loves Code (known at the time as Lady Loves Tech) Lisa’s also a recent graduate of Mozilla’s Ascend Project and she’s currently interning at Urban Airship and has another internship lined up to begin after this one finishes up. I asked about her experience learning to code, what she struggled with, and what advice she has today for new coders, especially women.
