This week we are joined by one of Sir Kayak’s favorite musicians, Mike Doughty. Mike tells us about his upcoming gig, headlining the 2013 Hoboken arts and music festival on May 5th, his pledge music campaign, upcoming tour and living in Brooklyn. Sir Kayak gets a little over zealous when gushing over Mike’s time in Soul Coughing and some of the classic songs that he still listens to daily. Sir Kayak is still grinning from the chat and can’t wait to go to the Hoboken arts and music festival on May 5th to see Mike in action. On the heels of the Mike Doughty lovefest and walk down Soul Coughing lane the gang skip the news segment this week and let Kayak blow off a little steam. Seems the Yak is disappointed over some south jersey “friends” coming all the way up to his little square mile town and not even offering up a hand shake. Yak insists he’s not mad, he’s not raging, he’s disappointed which is sometimes worse. Even Axman jumped in and said he felt dissed by proxy but at the end of the day you can’t force actions and we sure as hell are not buying them.
