This episode is an edit and repost of an earlier episode that was posted back in March of 2014.

The episode featured knife maker / designer Paulo Balzano. No doubt Paulo is a controversial character in the knife community. The story of Paulo Balzano over the past year is full of lessons we can all learn from. While he is an extremely talented designer, he has made some very serious mistakes along the way to finding his true identity. I’m not 100% sure he’s there yet but i’m hopeful he’s on the right path.

A lot happened in Paulo’s story after this episode was first published back in March 2014. Paulo ended up “going away” for a while but as of today January 22, 2015 Paulo appears be working on getting back on track as an established knife designer. We will be sure to get Paulo back on soon so he can fill us in on what’s gone down since this episode first aired.
