Running for fun and health can be motivating, but if you're like me it only lasts so long before I'm so tired and worn out that I could care less about those things. I need a goal, I need a race, I need something to push me to MY next level and keep me improving from one day to the next--something to get me out of bed and putting my running clothes on in the morning.
