Snapchat URLs
Did you know you now have your own Snapchat URL? It’s another great way to promote your profile across the social web.

To find your own URL, which you can then text, email, tweet, Facebook or broadcast it across the Internet until your friend count is sufficient, follow these steps:

* Launch Snapchat.
* Swipe down on the main screen.
* Tap on Add Friends.
* Select Share Username.

Your phone will then display the various apps and services you can share your personalised Snapchat URL to.

Google+ updates
Google+ have announced new feature updates. You might consider tuning out right now because you’re not using Google+ but I suggest to listen in!

Writing on their blog, they say:
“For the past few years, we’ve been doing a lot of listening on the Google+ team, and we’ve learned a lot. Listening to your feedback inspired us to introduce a new Google+ focused on helping you connect around shared interests a little over a year ago.”

The new features include:

1) Hide Low Quality Comments
2) Zoom function added to photos
3) Events brought back

LinkedIn gets a new desktop look
Have you seen the new LinkedIn desktop design? What do you think of it?

User experience is one of the most vital aspects of a social networks’ business.

Chris Pruett, Director of Engineering at LinkedIn says: "This desktop redesign brings conversations and content to the heart of the platform"

The key to the new design appears to be getting people to better interact and gain more valuable insights.

The new desktop site features streamlined navigation, smarter chatbots, a richer news feed and a more intuitive search.

Navigation on desktop has been simplified into seven core areas: Home (Your Feed), Messaging, Jobs, Notifications, Me, My Network and Search.
