The Joy The Baker Podcast
Pucking Dunches
Thanks for joining us for another Joy the Baker Podcast! Â We spent an hour last Thursday ducking punches… or ‘pucking dunches’ as Tracy would rather say. Â It all started when Tracy had to race to meet the trash man and I wouldn’t get on Instagram.
This week we’re talking about the (summer) time honored tradition of The Summer Bucket List. Â You know… it’s the list we have every intention of completing ever summer with varying degrees of success!
I loathe about how I haven’t made the hamburger buns I’ve promised to make for two years. Â The public loathing was enough to get me in my kitchen after the podcast to finally make them: Â Turkey Sloppy Joes with Buttery Buns! Â The summer bucket lists are working themselves out… slowly but surely.
Not on our summer bucket list: Â Homemade French Fries. Â Been there, done that. Â Lessons learned: Â always go out for French Fries. Â We’re worth it!
One exception to the homemade french fry rule is Baked Chili Cheese Fries. Â Totally doable and delicious!
On Tracy’s summer bucket list: Â reading Delicious! by Ruth Reichl and Delancey by Molly Wizenberg.
On my summer bucket list: Â a serious amount of Barre3 classes and an instagram booty. Â Yes… I’m still talking about that! Â SORRY!
Ok… so the deal is, we’re hoping to interview an Instagram fitness star on the podcast! Â Last time we interviewed a maaaajor person we didn’t know it was Tyler Florence and that got a little scary (for us, not for you). Â Remember that episode? Â It’s called the Flozone. Â Relive it if you’d like.
We’re hoping to interview @nate_diesel23. Â Maybe dreams do come true. Â That’s all we’re saying.
Lastly, we talk about address two questions about dating your co-workers. Â Maybe it can work out? Â Maybe it’s a terrible idea? Â Maybe you should just go for broke and date the boss? Â What do you think?
Thank you for joining us for another episode of the Joy the Baker Podcast.
Guess what!? Â We’re currently in the midst of building a brand new Homefries. Â We want things to be simple and super functional and we’re working on that for you! Â Thanks for you patience and thank you so much for listening!
