The Joy The Baker Podcast
Devil With A Blue Dress On
Hello, friends!
Thank you for joining us for another Joy the Baker Podcast. Â We’re well into April and we’re not talking about tax season or Easter brunch. Â Let’s talk about ghosts, blog burnout, and The Godfather.
My neighbors tell me there’s a ghost in our house. Â I’m hoping she’s friendly. Â So far so good. Â If I see her I’m going to full-on FREAK OUT! Â Tracy thinks I should talk to her. Â Do screams count as talking? Â I didn’t think so.
Let’s just be real… sometimes Tracy and I get a strong case of blog burnout! Â It’s a real thing. Â Always creating new content can be a challenge. Â We’re totally up for it, but sometimes the process takes more wine an encouragement that we’d like to admit. Â Ebb and flow. Â Ebb and flow.
Have you taken a look at Statigram? Â It will give you all sorts of statistics about your Instagram account, including who has unfollower you. Â Tracy has some real-time experience with this.
Carry on Carry on!
“Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in.” – The Godfather.Â
We are quickly approaching wedding season. Â That means it’s time to buy gifts! Â I love this New York Times 36 Hours Book about weekend travels. Â It’s a sweet gift for a newlywed couple.
Working in the kitchen takes a lot of practice! Â Even going to the grocery store takes a bit of traffic! Â Go easy on yourself. Â Ask your mama for help. Â Make a roast chicken and maybe some chicken stock too!
Try Tracy’s Flat Roasted Chicken! Smashed Potatoes would also be totally amazing.
Don’t fret too much! Â Just master one recipe at a time!
Homemade Chicken Stock is really simple and such a wonderful way to teach yourself to use the whole dang chicken.
Thank you so much for joining us for another podcast! Â It really does mean so much to us that you’re here and you listen!
