Myrna Loy was born in England of Jamaican parents.  Myrna is a visual artist and a poet and the output of both genres seem to come from nowhere- there is no planning when she picks up a brush, similarly, there is no preparation when creating poetry. Loy believes her recent book ‘The Spirit of Queens’ was spirit led.
