It’s finally that time we’ve all been waiting for, the first ever Powell Awards! After making the promise over 50 episodes ago to hold this showcase of terrible science, Matt & Pete have taken the 13 nominations of awful science, from The Galactic Cap to The Internet, and picked a winner we can all agree on. Of course it isn’t “It’s Science, Bitch!” without the ramble, so Matt and Pete are talking Game of Thrones and it;s crap words, The Witcher and it’s poor chronology, the bad world of Oz and Tom Bombadil the racist. It’s a celebration of everything bad about the things we love. To top it all off we have even chosen “the Charlie Powell of cinema” for this week’s Science of Cinema…Highlander 2: The Quickening.
