You can sign out of Facebook remotely?

If you forget to log out of Facebook at the office or at a friend’s house, don’t worry. From “Account” choose “Account Settings,” then “Account Security” and select the last item “Where You’re Logged In”.


This will list all of your active sessions along with when and where they were initiated. Simply click “end activity” to log out.




You can generate a one-time password to access Facebook?

If you’re in the U.S. you can text “otp” (one time password) to 32665 (FBOOK) and receive a temporary one-time password which expires in 20 minutes.

Facebook can help you cleanup your friend list without un-friending people

Easily clean up your friend list by bulk adding people to your ‘acquaintance’ list by going tohttps://www.facebook.com/friends/organize. Facebook will recommend 35 people with whom you haven’t engaged with in a while.

You can search specifically for people you are not friends with yet?

Search “randos at [place]†to access a list of co-workers you’re not friends with.


 




You can block your profile from showing up on Google?

If you do not want people to find your Facebook profile by searching for your name on a search engine, then you can control that preference through your privacy settings.


You can do this by going to “Account Settings†and then selecting “Privacy.†Go to the section that says “Do you want other search engines to link to your timeline?†under “Who can look me up?†Remove the checkmark where it says “Let other search engines link to your timeline.â€



 


You can turn off the video auto-play in your newsfeed?

This one is pretty straight forwarding. Settings > Videos > Autoplay OFF
