Dr. Jerome Teelucksighn, history professor at the University of The West Indies – St. Augustin campus in Trinidad talks about the interchangeability of the terms West Indian and Caribbean. It has become a generational and identifying marker for people from the region. As well, the Caribbean is in an identity stage inclusive of the cultures that make the Caribbean home.
