The Infinite Frontier Podcast - Episode 3 - Promotions and Travel

June 10, 2014

This week on the Infinite Frontier, Bull and Woody review the Players of the week, take questions on our first mailbag segment, introduce our new player spotlight segment, and then dive into our two big topics of the week, promotions and travel.

Here’s what you’ll get in this episode:

First, we’ll hear from River City Rascals Broadcaster Jordan Shaheen, as he interviews the Frontier League "Hitter of the Week", Josh Ludy. Then we’ll turn it over to Gateway’s Sam Levitt who interviews Ja’Vaughn West, who earned Frontier League "Pitcher of the Week" honors.

The mailbag section makes its debut this week, as we take your questions and comments on both Facebook and Twitter. This week, we answer questions about potential destinations for Frontier League expansion, and we’ll touch on the Independent League based in Tiffin, Ohio.

A new weekly segment will be unveiled as Terry Bonadonna, the voice of the Windy City Thunderbolts talks with Matt Scioscia, the son of current Angels Manager Mike Scioscia on his experiences at every level of baseball.

Woody and Bull then dive into the wonderful world of promotions. From midget wrestling to beer chugging contests to the Zooperstars and everything in between. We’ll hear from Gateway Grizzlies broadcaster Adam Young, Joliet Slammers broadcaster Mark Vasko, along with Slammers manager Jeff Isom, Lake Erie Crushers manager Chris Mongiardo, and Schaumburg Boomers manager Jamie Bennett.

We’ll close the show with our discussion on travel in the Frontier League, as Woody sits down with Kyle Haines, manager of the Frontier Greys, and we end the show with a lively conversation with Evansville Otters broadcaster Mike Radomski, who #RocksthePlanet by challenging Adam Young to a race at the All Star game.
