Interviewee: Brian Benson, CEO of Inspire Link

Transcript:
Whats up hot tubers and non hot tubbers.  Grab that coffee and dip your feet in. We are bringing professional back in shirtless/suitless. This is EPISODE #11. Coming in live from the Hot Tub Studio in Connecticut, I’m here an awesome guy. Founder and CEO OF Inspire link,
Brian Benson, interviews entreprenurs like I do. Because we are both hosts of shows, we are going to have a battle of the hosts cross interview each other. We both do similar things but in completely different ways.
Really awesome to have you here. Welcome to the show Brian
Can you tell us your story. How you came up with idea of Inspire link and started the brand.
What are strategies you go about to finding people to interview?
I know you interviewed Online Celebrities & Entreprenurs such as Pat Flynn and Gary V. Who was your coolest guest so far and why.

* What was your ah ha moment when you thought of creating the Hot Tub Joe show?

I think the ah ha moment, well it started 6 months ago, when I was posting videos of myself in be royal in a hot tub about myself, a heart break I was just discussing the pain of it. Anyhow jumped on Simple Reminders, its this facebook page with 7 million people following it, and Bryant Mcgill was doing a broadcast and I said hi in the broadcast and then Bry responded Hey Hot Tub Joe.  I was like wow, that affirmation and confirmation that it was catchy, I looked up the domain name hottubjoe.com.
What’s been your biggest challenge so far as an entrepreneur? I think the biggest challenge has been
I don’t want to let people down. I think creating compelling value to people is always challenge. And then scaling onto other social media platforms to build it. Realizing that I have the power and the skillset to do some of the things on my website doesn’t mean that I should do them. I think finding virtual assistants is key to growth, teaching them what you know, and moving on to the next thing to learn a skill set or build will constantly grow your brand to the next level and allow you work on products in your brand.
For example. I don’t know how to program, but I think I’m really good designating projects to people, and managing work flow so I outsource programing to an team in India which is the first product launch scheduled for 10.01.16.
If someone wanted to start their own version of Hot Tub Joe show, what would be the first piece of advice you would give them?
I think the difference between successful people and not successful people is people that followed through on their goals, the day to day goals add up.
Find a problem that needs to be solved and create a solution for it. Connecting entrepreneurs together. I think collaboration vs competition  is a powerful thing. A lot of the entreprenurs something that your doing, something doing but were doing it in different ways. The power of community is really something. I think create a brand that serves people, I’m here to serve my community the best I can and learn from people’s growth while applying concepts I learn to my own business and scale up. I am my own customer.
Well, I would say make sure you love it with a firey passion. I love my brand a lot but you are going to have bad days. If your not passionate about your brand to begin with you won’t weather the stormy days.
