What Goes down in the Hot Tub this Episode:
GETTING BACK WITH YOUR EX? The Girls discussed how getting back with your ex may be a bad idea, unless you ended on good terms. Meaning, someone moved away, you guys were just going down different life paths, etc. Do NOT, get back together if the drama was the equivalent to setting someone’s car on fire, that is a recipe for disaster. Even though you may still care for them, there was a reason why you broke up. It is of course possible to have it go well, people break up and get back together all the time. You just need to take into account the bad memories, and extra baggage that might come with it. Everyone is different.
WHAT CAN I LEARN?  As we have mentioned before, breakups are a great time for self-discovery.  It can really help you learn how to make time for yourself and help you realize if your ex was monopolizing your time. You should always be your own #1 and never let the other person control you or change who you are. You should remember, “If you can’t love yourself, how in the hell you gonna love somebody else?”
DID SOMEONE STEAL YOUR EX? Heather describes those people as nail clippers stepping in to cut off that hang nail of a relationship from your life. It gets difficult to leave a person that isn’t good for you. The memories, the emotions, you just get attached. The third party that comes in and just gives you that one final reason to leave. They ripped your ex off for you so you wouldn’t have to suffer slowly trying to do it yourself. Don’t be angry, be thankful.
DO WE HAVE A ‘TYPE’? Here we discuss how we may go back to the same type of person, because they fit our ‘type’. We naturally just go with what we know. Downside is, if your type hasn’t been working for you, it might never will. Once you have realized that you have reached this point, you can move on to figure out what is the type of person you should be dating. The easiest way to do this is to find yourself and be completely honest of the things you want and don’t want.
Check out the episode to get in on the discussion of “when to know it’s over”. Also, how finding yourself before you commit to serious relationships is important. Don’t forget folks, Tip Your Bartenders!
