Ep. 80 - The Nuclear Option

June 02, 2014

After missing a week the show is back. We wanted to make a shoutout to reddit for their support of the show, and I hope they continue to support their show with their efforts and pockets. I'm getting married within a week and I talk about the awkward conversations I've been having with others in regards to my wedding. The IIHF world championship is over and the grand dictator president prime minister himself is quite pleased with the performance of the motherland of Russia. We look into what makes a country or city decide to host an international event such as the Olympics or World Cup and we examine if its worth it or not to host such events. Barry Trotz has been hired to coach the Washington Ovechkins. This may be Ovechkin's last chance to bring a Stanley Cup to Washington before he gets shipped off to another team or better yet, Siberia. My favorite game is being released soon with the next installment and we take a dive into what makes the cover. I do a quick game of Quizup on my phone and I win, because I am a genius. The third round of the NHL playoffs is now over and we are looking forward to the Stanley Cup finals. The Rangers and Habs made the most headlines that were non hockey related but the Hawks and the Kings definitely had the better of the two series. Thank you very much for checking us out and make sure to tune in two weeks from now after I take a week off to go get married.
