It’s a challenging time. Obviously, we’re on hiatus from our usual coverage, but are seeking live streams and remote artist interviews (if you’re interested, give us a shout!). So here’s a bit of a throwback to The Last Days of Concerts. Marleah and James recap Lucki (with Poundside Pop, DJ Killa Kam, DJ Rennessy), who they saw at Gramercy Theater on 3-10-20. Marleah appreciates a man who is both handsome and organized (that'd be manager Jordi, thank you for your help!), and felt self-conscious moshing because she looked like a total nerd (the cure for that...moshing). James’ smartwatch was concerned he was stressed, but he just likes being in the moshpit. Both Marleah and James had much respect for both DJ KillaKam making us all a family for a little while, and Lucki’s willingness to show us the truth of his lived experiences. But would he be ok us getting lost in his show, at the expense of taking in his performance? That’s the question we'd love to ask!
