People Have a Problem with Self-Promotion Do you know that most coaches and consultants make less than $20,000 a year coaching and consulting clients and only doing part time? Why is that? I find that the number one reason why a lot of coaches and consultants struggle to make the kind of money that they want to make is that they have a problem with self-promotion. A lot of coaches are usually women. Women are very hard on themselves. They are very often hesitant to promote themselves and self-promote. Men are the same thing. I see that they just want to focus on what they do and say, “Maybe I just want to help people and that’s okay.
