December 15, 2015

Episode Nine Show Notes
Tchiya Amet KemeTones Cosmic Sound Healing practitioner and instructor practices healing and awareness with sound, creating and performing music found in ancient history of cultural astronomy. She shares with us about her exciting and amazing mission – her project Tchiya Amet KemeTones Cosmic Sound Healing. She explains that KemeTones is the Kemetic (Ancient African Egyptian) and Indigenous approach to Cosmic Sound Healing with Acutonics©.

Acutonics is similar to Acupuncture, except tuning forks are used instead of needles.  Each tuning fork is tuned to a different planetary frequency, and with KemeTones©, cosmic sounds are utilized instead of needles. Thus voice, traditional instruments and music devices are utilized in healing treatments.

Tchiya Amet KemeTones Cosmic Sound Healing works by balancing all the body systems. The sound waves vibrate and travel deeply into your body along energy pathways, affecting every cell of your body and reaching places not easily accessed by traditional medicine.

Starting young as an independent artist, Tchyia bought a piano with her allowance when she was just 8 years old! For little Tchiya, piano playing was an escape and an outlet as a little girl. Tchiya shares that she was so devastated from an early episode surrounding playing her music for others, that is still a part of her ongoing healing journey.

Years later, as an adult, she was finally convinced to play her music for others, even for people she did not know! (That’s something she thought she would never do!) Tchiya shares how playing her music became a mechanism to keep her family together, and turned to matter of life and death for her. Somehow it began to transform into healing music for others. Her journey to know herself, is what her song writing is about.

Tchiya has been writing and performing reggae music inspired from her roots in African and native American cultures.

A musical tribute to the Black Indians of Turtle Island, featuring the poetry of some of its great leaders, and the teachings of Ancient Cultures. With influencing rhythms ranging from roots rock reggae, rock steady, ska, and dancehall to Afro-Cuban. The song Rabbit People is an original by Tchiya written and sung in Cherokee.

She received a Bachelors degree in Physics at Oberlin College, and performed Jazz Piano in the Oberlin Jazz Ensemble. Her first 3 albums are spiritual teaching from cultures put to reggae or Africa rhythms.

She studied Galactic Astronomy –and learned about yoga and power of the mind.  This took the healing music Rastafarian to the next level and opened heart and mind to her current role as KemeTones cosmic healing practitioner and trainer.

KemeTones is her cosmic sound healing practice, based on Acutonics, using tuning forks. Acutonics is a healing system developed by Acupuncturists in 1990’s who had patients that did not like needles. They were avid astrologers and wanted to combine their love for astrology with their acupuncture. Out of that love, they developed Accutonics tuning forks.  They created tuning forks tuned to planetary frequencies based on the observations of famous astrologer Kepler. The name EGYPT is Greek. The indigenous for Egypt name is Kemet.  Kemet means the land of Black. Referring to Black skin, soil, sacred darkness, sacred blackness in between the stars in the universe.

KemeTones takes the Acutonics practice beyond the Greek astrology planetary system used by Kepler, and includes indigenous cultures from other parts of the world, incorporating African traditions, culture, and myths.

Acutonics® is a non-invasive healing technique, that is similar to acupuncture, but without the needles. The cosmic sounds of the Music of the Spheres are used in place of needles. Utilizing a system of custom calibrated tuning forks that are tuned to the orbital properties of the...
