John’s love of music started in fourth grade when he attended an Arts summer camp and belted out “Circle of Life” in a production of The Lion King. John discovered his own voice and flair for songwriting when he began to perform as a singer and felt the pull to sing lyrics that spoke to others and connected to the force deep within him.

Rooted in Eastern Pennsylvania and intent on making upbeat music that moves and spiritually heals others, John Scargall is reveling in the throes of sharing his cd Breakthrough with the world.

He has performed on the NASCAR tour, starred in PBS39’s television show Steel Sessions and was a guest on Sports Illustrated Now. He has also been a featured artist on radio stations, including 93.7 WSTW, SiriusXM Road Dog Trucking and Eagle 97.7 FM and has had music on the iTunes Top 100 Alt Country Chart.

John is a passionate animal advocate and is partnered with PACT for Animals, a non-profit organization that helps nurture the human-animal bond. Inspired by the love he has for his own dog, Penny, he participates in animal welfare events and raises awareness for their programs and services. John donates $1 of the purchase price of every Breakthrough CD to PACT.
