Known for his unique, far-reaching DJ sets and mix CD's, Derek Russo, aka DJ Russo, is one of Colorado's best DJ's. Not limited to one genre, Russo rocks big clubs, outdoor mutli-bill stages and intimate venues with an amazing selection of music ranging from gritty funk, downtempo, hip hop and soul, to dance party house, disco and electro, to experimental electronica and dubstep.

Since picking up the headphones in 2002, Russo has steadily made a name for himself every year. Russo relocated to Queenstown, New Zealand in 2002, and landed a weekly Saturday night gig on NZ's premier all-electronic music station, The Studio. All this just 6 months after learning how to DJ.

As one of Colorado's most in-demand and versatile DJ's, he has been sought after to perform at all types of events from weddings to art openings to yoga festivals and charity events.
