The theme of the 23rd episode of Fired Up w/ HMJ is how to overcome obstacles newsbies experience when wanting to start growing. We discuss motivations, financial challenges, easy ways to get started.

We welcome up and coming independent band, Radical Something. They formed in 2011 and have made music and toured with acts like Sublime and Rome, Matisyahu, and Kinetics. Their style "blends hip-hop and rock with a decidedly Californian vibe" according to Billboard.com.

We also welcome Green, aka Travis, HMJ marketing director, longtime HMJ content contributor, and one of the first HMJ employees. He has been writing about Radical Something since they formed and this is his first time getting to interview them.
