From our earliest years, we develop certain thoughts about light and darkness. Light can be illuminating or blinding, while darkness can cause fear or provide cover. The magi used the light of Jesus's birth to visit him from a far distance. If Jesus came to shine the light in the dark places of our lives, why are we sometimes content to hide in the shadows?
