GaGcast – Episode 186 – Fresh Coat of Paint

June 01, 2015

Greetings loyal listeners and thanks for joining us on another episode of the GaGcast. This week we'll be talking about bad RPG's that deserve a second chance and successful reboots of others. As for what the guys have been playing this week James starts things off by continuing the good fight in Dragon Age: Inquisition. Fred picked up the Witcher 3 and found most of his issues with the second game missing. Nate got back into Darkest Dungeon and his recommendation stays as strong as ever. Ray put a slight twist on the usual and gave us a list of things he wants to complete this summer. Here's Ray's list: 1. Watch Ant-Man 2. Play Arkham Knight (see podcast 164 - http://www.grownasgamers.com/2014/12/gagcast-episode-164-notmyfivedollars/) 3. Get the new Dragon Age RPG core book 4. Read through the new RPG The Strange 5. Play a metric ton of Marvel 2015 for it's anniversary.

As mentioned earlier the guys talk about what RPG's need a fresh coat of paint. On our wishlist is a Marvel system that manages to stick around. as far as repairing things are concerned someone really needs to fix Exalted. Palladium's general awfulness ruined the one Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles RPG we have. On the positive side of things thank the Savage Worlds for Deadlands: Reloaded and all praise Fantasy Flight for their great Star Wars RPG. This week we'd love for listeners to talk about what RPG's they think need a fresh coat of pain in the comments below. While you're online we'd appreciate you liking and favoriting us on Stitcher and iTunes. Finally if you can leave us a review on either of those sites it would be just super. Until next week stay gaming and stay awesome.
