GaGcast – Episode 184 – So Terrible and So Great

May 18, 2015

Hello loyal listeners and thanks for joining us on another episode of the Gagcast. This week the guys talk about the kind of terrible movies you can't wait to make your friends watch. Before we get into the main discussion we go over what we've played for the past few weeks. James spent some time with Assassin's Creed Black Flag but is starting to go through some series fatigue with the annual releases. To take a break from pirating James started up Dragon Age Inquisition and dove into the new achievements system in Marvel Heroes. Ray has been reading up on Star Wars RPG: Age of Rebellion in preparation for Free RPG Day. Ray also backed Phoenix: Dawn Command a RPG on Kickstarter that uses death as a way to level up combined with a deck building mechanic to manage combat. Nate picked up the long delayed Chroma Squad, a turn-based tactical RPG that places you in the shoes of a director making a super sentai TV show. Nate also took a trip back in time by picking up Megaman Battle Network on the Wii U, a unique RPG staring Capcom's legendary blue blaster. Finally Nate picked up Civilization: Beyond Earth, which at first glimpse is more intimidating than Civ 5 but time will tell if that stays true. Our special guest Tori has as a stack of games to go through but has taken solace in playing through Dragon Age: Origins once again. Finally Fred tried out the beta for Rocket League, a combat soccer game where you play as cars. This game will be coming out this summer to PS4.

As mentioned earlier the topic this week is terrible movies that your friends need to see. Below is our list:

Robot Jocks

The Ballad of Ricky-O

Nightmare on Elm Street 2 (if only to appreciate how good the others are)
