“James Bond” month continues with 2008’s “Quantum of Solace”!

After the massive critical and commercial success of Daniel Craig’s breakout performance as famed secret agent James Bond in “Casino Royale”, producers quickly returned to the drawing board to bring Bond back to the big screen as soon as possible. In a first for the franchise, “Quantum of Solace” picks up immediately after the events of its predecessor, as Bond begins his passionate, heartbroken journey to avenge the death of his love, Vesper. Almost unanimously regarded as the weakest entry in Craig’s “Bond” series, “Quantum of Solace” is another masterclass in what not to do with a sequel to a successful movie, and serves as a warning for all franchises thinking of another entry.
