Actor James Dean currently sits atop the mythological Pantheon of Hollywood—a fabled character that sent shockwaves through our collective popular culture conscience—and has been the stuff of legend ever since. The apex of Dean’s work, while only a measly three films due to his untimely death, is 1955’s “Rebel Without a Cause”. The story of an emotional confused and angry teenager trying to settle into his new high school, “Rebel Without a Cause” is the genesis of the coming of age film, laying the groundwork for everything to follow.
