Furthermore, the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), a free trade agreement purported to “liberalise trade and investment between 12 Pacific-rim countries”, will, if implemented, result in changes to domestic laws, allowing global corporations to sue governments in tribunals; the impact of which will ripple through every signatory’s country dramatically.
