Welcome to the Life Unbridled Podcast, An Animal Chiropractic Podcast, which discusses the Philosophy, Art, and Science – The Story of Animal Chiropractic.
The intent of this podcast is to share thots and ideas about animal chiropractic that might help us all to become better communicators of, and practitioners of, Animal Chiropractic.
Chiropractic is a separate and unique philosophy, art, and science.  It is not part of medicine.  It is not the same thing as manual medicine, sports medicine, or merely the treatment of stuck joints to reduce pain and inflammation.
There is power in a properly delivered chiropractic adjustment, in improving overall health, wellness, and quality of life.
Chiropractic subluxation has the potential of dramatically interfering with the function of the central nervous system, and correction of subluxation has the potential of dramatically improving function, adaptation, balance, coordination, rhythm, of the brain and nervous system.
Our goal is to explore the power of the adjustment and to engage in a conversation that will improve our abilities to communicate the importance of chiropractic care, and to deliver that care with excellence, precision, and safety.
In this pilot episode I reference some self-quiz questions.  The idea for such a self-assessment comes from my friend, Dr. Nick Spano, an excellent chiropractor who teaches a technique called Advanced Muscle Palpation (not to be confused with motion palpation).  Dr. Spano starts his seminars with similar questions, and I believe if we are truly honest and objective, we all have room for improvement in our abilities to communicate and deliver excellent chiropractic care.  The good news is, even chiropractic explained in a mediocre manner, and even chiropractic delivered in a mediocre manner, can have exceptional results….but Chiropractic, spoken of with confidence and superior understanding, and Chiropractic delivered with precision and elegance, can have an unbelievably profound affect on the quality of life and health of our people, pets, and pasture pals.
Here are the questions we ask in the podcast.  Rate yourself on a scale of 1-10.
How confident are you in communicating the need for chiropractic and what chiropractic is?
How confident are you in defining subluxation?
How confident are you in the Power of a Chiropractic Adjustment?
How confident are you at finding subluxation, correcting it on that visit, and knowing that you did exactly everything that was supposed to happen on that visit?

Please share this session of the podcast, and be watching for other sessions to come out on  a weekly (or so) basis.

Our goal is to create community – a family of Animal Chiropractic practitioners.
We are different from our chiropractic and veterinary colleagues.  We think differently.  We function differently.  We have some unique challenges in practice, and we have some things worthy of jealousy from our peers.
The goal of Life Unbridled is to create conversation, and relationships that will help us all to become the best, most confident, and most competent, communicators of, and practitioners of Animal Chiropractic.
