As promised we return with a bonus episode, in which I manage to make the mistake of saying we’re on episode 40, and not 39. A smoother, and more professional man would have edited that one out, but because I’m honest, and also a bit lazy, I’ve just left it in there. I may also be trying to keep it real, as the kids say.
Last episode, we covered the big three at E3 – Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo. In this episode, we sat down to talk about the big publisher conferences, namely Ubisoft, EA, Square Enix, and Bethesda.
I won’t spoil too much for you, but suffice it say, we came away fairly impressed with most of what was on offer, horrible interaction with Pele notwithstanding. Andrew even managed to not turn the entire episode into another Fallout 4-based fanboy rant, which is nothing short of a miracle.
Our original plan was to release this episode as a bonus, and follow up with a “regular” episode, but it turns out that, typical of the post-E3 season, there’s simply not enough to justify another episode, so unfortunately, this one will have to tide you over.
