YouTube or Vimeo, That is the question and when to use either

April 20, 2015

We are fortunate to have so many video options available for free. Two of our favorites are Vimeo and YouTube for different reasons and uses. This episode walks you through some scenarios of why you may want to use Vimeo (free version) over YouTube and when YouTube makes the most sense. Sometimes you may want both but vary the descriptions. We know there are many more services, but this is only a 23 minute show.

We cover embedding your video in WordPress, embedding through other content management systems and on basic HTML websites, playlist options, players and skins for Vimeo and when you may want to consider the PAID version of Vimeo especially if you want to offer gated content.

We've also included a clip from a previous episode covering ways to use YouTube on your website. The recap tips were so helpful, we wanted to bring them out again.

Please post your comments and questions below. We appreciate that you are watching and hope you subscribe.
